Welcome to the PCC Cross-Regional Learning Website

This website serves as the vehicle for knowledge sharing and learning exchange on carabao-based enterprises (CBE) between and among the Regional Centers and the Central Office of the Philippine Carabao Center.

This is a different website. It is more than a participatory website. You — directors and staff of the PCC regional centers — will own and yourselves manage, maintain and update this website. After the February 2016 KM workshop at Clark Freeport Zone, this website will be remotely managed collectively by the regional centers themselves, through one or two duly designated and trained content managers from each regional center.

• Through this website Center Directors and Regional Coordinators can do the following 24/7:

• Share good practices, lessons learned and workable tools to other regional centers along two thematic areas: research for development (R4D) and carabao-based enterprise development (CBED);

• Conduct online discussions on any topic of common interest such as agenda for their next meetings;

• Share a single online repository of commonly-used documents;

• Ask technical or administrative questions across regional centers and share proven solutions to those who need them;

• Co-author reports and papers;

• Update each other on recent developments in the region, central office, Department of Agriculture or abroad; and

• Create, self-maintain, search and use an expertise directory of regional and central office staff.

To start, this website will be the vehicle for communication and work collaboration among the regional centers in preparation for the National Knowledge Sharing Forum on CBED scheduled in July 2016.
