My appreciation and deepest gratitude for accepting me in this so called PCC Cross - Regional Learning Site. Thank you very much!
Some of my duties and responsibilities are indicated below:
v UNIT HEAD, CARABAO UPGRADING PROGRAM (AI and Bull Loan Coordinator)
•Prepare and implement plan related to Artificial Insemination and Bull Loan Program;
•Prepare, consolidate and submit monthly and annual reports on the performance and center's accomplishment on artificial insemination and bull loan program;
•Prepare monthly/annual calendar regarding on the distribution of LN2, frozen semen and other AI related matters;
•Prepare and send communication letters to LGU's regarding artificial insemination and bull loan activities;
•Attend national, regional and provincial artificial insemination meeting & other related meeting; and
•Perform other tasks that will assign by the immediate supervisor.
v TRAINING COORDINATOR
•Plan, develop, review, and organize training needs of the center related to Carabao Development Program such as Genetic Improvement Program, Carabao Upgrading Program, Enterprise Development, Research & Development and other related training; implements efficient and effective approved training programs; and conducts identified training and assesses its effectiveness; and prepares and submits training accomplishment reports;
•Develop and conduct researches related to Carabao-Based Enterprise Development, Carabao Upgrading Program, both Artificial Insemination and Bull Loan Program, and other related fields. Communicates/presents results of researches maybe through technology transfer/dissemination, scientific journal publication, scientific paper, poster presentation, and other appropriate media;
•Perform other related functions such as students occupational internship program, study tour, and technology development dissemination.
It is always my honor and privilege to work and serve our people consistent with the mandate of Philippine Carabao Center to conserve, propagate, and promote the carabao as a source of draft animal power, meat, milk, and hide to benefit rural farmers.
