Welcome to the ROJMHAS (ROJ Medical and Health Administration School)!

Since this is the first time you are enrolled in ROJMHAS and since you are just embarking on a project to become a physician, we the faculty think a program entitled "Orientation and Introduction to Medical Education" will help you get started.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The general objectives of the program are to orient, to motivate, to give an overview, to build a framework, and to lay down the foundation to facilitate your learning to become a physician.

There will be written examinations.

Using checklists and evaluation guides,

1. Analysis of the final drafts of the project reports

2. Observation on how students performed during the workshop and small group discussions

EVALUATION INDICATOR:

Accomplishment of all specified learning objectives.

GRADING SYSTEM:

*Numerical equivalent can be used.

PROJECT REPORTS

Reports must be computer-generated. Digital slide presentation may be used during the small group session.

Online submission of digital reports is strongly being promoted and encouraged. However, faculty may at times require submission of hard copies of computer-generated reports.

Reports will be evaluated by both peers and faculty.

Final drafts must show improvements of the initial drafts.

Satisfactory and excellent reports will be compiled in a folder labeled "Reference Materials".

Unsatisfactory reports will be compiled in a folder labeled "Critique Materials."

There will be at least four reports that you have to submit at the end of the program. These are, namely:

Unit 1 - Summary and Reflection Paper

Unit 2 - Personal Plan on How to Become a Physician

Unit 3 - Exercises on Management in Medicine

Unit 4 - Problem-Based Learning on Toothache

Your faculty may ask you to submit other reports. Follow their instructions.
