Daan Roosegaarde is an artist, designer, and entrepreneur. With his works he tries to trigger peoples imagination around the possibilities for a new world. I find his work inspiring because he tries to move people through the creation of unconventional objects. Personally, I like to make things that are unconventional or maybe even uncomfortable. Roosegaarde takes natural phenomena and tries to form them into his own ideas. But what I mostly admire is that his own interests (nature and technology) are reflected in his work. Such as with the smog free tower, where smog is transformed into a piece of shiny jewellery.
