This week's Tasks: April 28th - May 4th, 2014
This week will be a bit different in terms of how it is set up. First off, there is no quiz this week. Instead, I am introducing your Final Summative Project for the course. In addition, you will need to complete the Unit 3 review and complete the Unit 3 Test by the end of this week.
(NOTE: There are no videos to watch this week and there is no assignment as you are to focus on choosing a topic for your course summative and reviewing for the Unit 3 Test)
1. Final Course Summative (15% of Final Course Mark)
Your final course summative is divided into two tasks that will be completed in steps over the next 6 weeks. Basically, you will be choosing a topic that interests you in Earth or Space Science and you will be completing 1. a research report (with a clear thesis statement) and 2. a seminar / class presentation.
All of the details of this final project are included in the document below. I would strongly suggest that you read through this document in detail. I will be asking you to choose a topic by the end of this week and I will be asking you to provide your thesis statement, paper outline and proof of research. All due dates are included in this document. For the seminar portion of the project, I will be asking you to create a prezi, slideshow and / or video of your research topic. (more details about the seminar to follow soon)

3. Unit 3 Test (please complete between April 30th - May 4th, 2014. A Time Limit of 90 minutes will be enforced).
