Pink Ribbon Shell Filet Scarf
Materials-Pink DK yarn, size C hook or size to give gauge. Model used approx. 2.2 oz.
Gauge: Approx 4” wide and 54” long
Special stitches-ch 4 at beginning of row=tr*
Joined tr=Do not yo, draw up a lp in 2nd & 3rd ch of starting ch-4, draw up a lp in 1st st of row, (yo & draw through 2 lps)3x
*Troubleshooting- If the side with the ch-4 and joined tr is longer than the side ending with the 2 tr, change the instructions to ch 3 at beginning of row=tr, and do a joined tr in 2nd and 3rd ch of starting ch 3; continue instructions above. My project worked in the pink marl yarn used a ch-3 rather than a ch-4.
2/14/16 update-For better edges, start even-numbered rows with ch-3 as above and end with tr, dc in last sc.

Repeat rows 6-21 for pattern until desired length. End with a RS row between motifs. End off panel 1. Do not end off panel 2.
Joining row- Hold RS of 2 panels together. With panel 2, ch 4, then remove hook from work. Insert hook into 1st sc of panel 1 from the WS (back to front) and draw lp through;
now complete joined tr on 2nd panel. Skip next tr on panel 2, sc in next tr. Remove hook from lp and insert hook through 2nd tr on panel 1, draw through lp.
(Ch 1, remove hook from lp and insert it through WS of next lp on panel 1, ch 1 over lp, ch 1, sc in next lp of panel 2)4x,
Ch 1, remove hook and insert it through WS of next tr on panel 1, ch 1, sc in next tr on panel 2, tr in last sc of panel 2,
tr in last sc of panel 2, remove hook from lp, insert hoop through sc of panel 2, draw through lp and complete last tr in same sp as last st on panel 2.
End off.
Weave in ends to complete the scarf.
