Disney Princess 4-way hat

The brim on this hat can be styled in at least 4 ways! See Ravelry.com for photos showing all 4 styles.

Materials: #10 crochet cotton in MC (main color) and trim color, size 7 steel crochet hook, scissors.

Do not join rounds. Run a small piece of contrasting sewing thread up the end of each round to mark your place.

Round 1-With MC, ch 2, 6 sc in 2^nd ch from hook. (6 sc)

Rounds 2-7-Increase 6 evenly spaced sc per round. Space the increases so they are not directly over the previous round. (Round 7 has 42 sc)

Rounds 8-9-Sc in each sc.

Round 10-Repeat round 2. (48 sc)

Rounds 11-13-repeat round 8. Change to trim color on last lp of round 13.

Round 14-16-with trim color, repeat round 8.

Round 17A-Sl st in front lp of each st around, join, end off.

Round 17B-Working in back lp of round 16, join MC and work (sc in next 11 sts, 2 sc in next st)4x. (52 sc)

Rows 18-22- Increase 4 evenly spaced sc per round. Space the increases so they are not directly over the previous round. (Round 22 has 72 sc). After last round, join and end off.

Back ribbon-With trim color, make a foundation dc of about 15 sts, fold and tack onto back of hat to cover round ends.

Weave in all ends.
