Materials: DK yarn, size G crochet hook, small amount of ¼” black elastic, black sewing thread, sewing needle, scissors
Row 1-Ch 2, foundation sc until piece is 4” wide. Turn. Models have 17 sts.
Row 2-Ch 1, sc in each st across, turn.
Repeat row 2 until piece is over 11 ½” or desired length. Pink model has 56 rows.
Mat holder. Roll up mat tightly. Wrap a piece of elastic around rolled mat; overlap elastic about ¼” with slight tension on elastic. Cut elastic and make another piece the same size. Cut a third piece of elastic to join the 2 circles with some slack, as pictured. Overlap one of the circles and place one end of the 3rd piece underneath. Sew in place with matching thread. Repeat for 2nd circle.
