Post date: Feb 26, 2015 2:6:1 PM

PhD Career Services and Graduate Student Life & Wellness are proud to present Negotiating Your Job Offer. This is the third in a series of financial education and wellness sessions offered this year. All graduate students, graduate professional students and postdocs are invited to attend on March 3rd from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in Chittenden Hall Room 110. Please RSVP here.

So you’ve been offered a job… now what? How do you know if you are being paid what you are worth? How do you evaluate the value of your entire compensation package? How do you approach an employer to start a negotiation process?

The Negotiating Your Job Offer workshop will give you practical advice on how to evaluate, strategize, and negotiate your job. Dr. Jennifer Dunn from the Eli Broad School of Business teaches the fundamental skills related to the art of negotiation and will present on this topic.

Dr. Dunn conducts research in the areas of negotiations, trust, reputation, and ethical decision-making. Dunn teaches a business ethics course in the Full-time MBA program. The Full-time MBA class awarded Dunn their Outstanding Professor in a 2nd-Year/Elective Course award in 2012 and 2013.
