Sandra Lee Romah was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. She is a graduate of Point Park University with a degree in Broadcast Television and a minor in Dance. After two sports/news internships with the local ABC and CBS station affiliates, Sandy was hired by the World Champion Pittsburgh Steelers in the summer of 2006. For the past three seasons she has work as a host, producer, and editor for the Steelers Television Network (Steelers TV and Steelers 24/7 On Demand). “The McDonalds Steelers KidZONE”, “Steelers in the Community”, “Ready Set What”, “Game Day Exclusive” and “Youth Football in Steelers Country” are amongst her weekly televised shows; In addition to hosting weekly entertainment specials on the players and their activities throughout the city. Her duties with the Steelers have not only consisted of on-air talent but producing and editing as well. She has produced and edited in-game highlights for the scoreboard, player highlight reels and documentaries in addition to off-season television player specials “A day in the Life.” Sandy also co-hosts a live weekend sports talk show during the season, “Steelers Saturday Night”. The show airs on the Pittsburgh CW/KDKA, the local CBS affiliate. Her passion for sports and entertainment stems from growing up with four brothers in a very sports oriented home. Ironically for Sandy, her life revolved around dancing, musical theater, acting and the stage. She has been dancing since the age of two and teaching since the age of sixteen. Currently she teaches over 150 students, and is most popular for her skills in Hip-Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary Jazz, but she is also trained in ballet and tap. For the past six years she has performed in over a dozen shows for the New York City based RWS Associates Production Company. Being of Lebanese decent, Sandy has been a guest performer in numerous state and national folk festivals, Arabic Charm Dancing. Sandy Romah has made a name for herself in her home town of Pittsburgh specifically when it comes to the young fans. “Youth Football in Steelers Country” is one of the most watched On-Demand Steelers programs. Her “Youth Football Anthem” is known and recited by kids from all over Western Pennsylvania. Sandy says she is blessed to be working in her hometown but is waiting for the opportunity to influence and entertain young people and sports fans all over the world.
