After graduating from Gannon University with his B. A. in Communication Arts (for television and radio), Al Marschke’s career took off and it hasn’t come back down. From working in the news department as Master Control Operator, Producer/Director, Editor and operating camera and audio, to owning his own company, Blu Mars Media, Al’s education, success and experiences allow him to do what most people dream of. Al has mastered the art of editing, lighting, instant replay, field camera work, technical directing and producing. Some of Al’s freelance clients consist of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Fox News Channel, ABC’s Good Morning America, CNN International, NBC Nightly News, MTV, ESPN baseball and golf, and various private and corporate ad agency video work. Al also enjoys working with his 35mm Nikon camera shooting environmental portraiture, landscape and photo journalism.
