A 1988 graduate of Ohio University’s E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, Brian’s career began at Columbus, Ohio-based SBC Advertising/Public Relations, where he served a wide range of retail/consumer clients. In 1991, he joined Burson-Marsteller, the world’s largest PR agency, where he helped drive public relations, issues management and public affairs for Philip Morris and consumer-based clients. In 1995, Brian was named Vice President of Marketing, for the Steel Recycling Institute, where he directed national environmental marketing campaigns for the steel industry. He, along with Todd Patterson, launched Think Communications, Inc. in 1998. Brian has served on the boards of directors for the Ohio University National Alumni Association, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and is past president of the Public Relations Society of America, Pittsburgh Chapter. He also is a board member for the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and is active in the Boy Scouts of America, serving as the marketing director of Area IV, Northeast Region, and the Greater Pittsburgh Council, Boy Scouts of America, marketing committee. www.thinkcreativity.com
