Visual designer and President of AIGA, MAYA
Greg is a designer at MAYA, a design consultancy and technology research lab. There, he works collaboratively with engineers, human scientists and designers who have an intense desire to turn human experiences with technology products into positive, fruitful interactions.
Prior to joining MAYA, he worked as an associate creative director at The Bank of New York Mellon, where he managed a team of designers focused on corporate design and branding. He was instrumental in developing and launching the brand and visual-identity system for the new company, which was formed from the 2007 merger between Mellon and The Bank of New York.
Greg is the current president of the Pittsburgh Chapter of AIGA, the professional association for design. AIGA is the place design professionals turn to first to exchange ideas and information, participate in critical analysis and research, and advance education and ethical practice. A Nebraska native and former Marine, Greg holds a Masters degree in communication from Duquesne University and a Bachelor of Science degree in graphic design from La Roche College.
