Paul Fireman is the founder and president of Fireman Creative, a Pittsburgh based advertising and communications firm. Current active clients include Heartland Homes, The Pittsburgh Housing Authority, Kennywood Entertainment, Harper Collins Publishers, PostSecret.com, Denis Leary, Heinz History Center, Fort Ligonier, JCC of Pittsburgh, Mini of Pittsburgh, and The East End Food Coop. The spring of 2009 marked the launch of vivolive.com. Vivo is a web based live video broadcasting platform. Paul Fireman is the President of Vivo. A graduate of Kenyon College, with over 24 years experience in advertising, marketing and production. He got his start as an intern at KDKA Radio in Pittsburgh. He then moved to New York where he worked for advertising agencies DMBandB and J. Walter Thompson. While working full-time, Paul attended night school at the School of Visual Arts and studied graphic design. In 1990, he joined the Walt Disney Company as a Regional Marketing Manager and then Director of Consumer Promotions for The Disney Channel. While at Disney Paul created and managed the Disney Channel Zoo Tour that toured major zoos throughout the country, and was later promoted to Advertising Director for Disney Publishing. He left Disney to become Senior Vice President of BBH Exhibits, an international exhibit design company headquartered in San Antonio. He was responsible for collaborations with The Smithsonian Institution, NASA, National Geographic Society and Woods Whole Oceanographic Institute. In 1999, Paul returned with his wife and family to Pittsburgh. Prior to launching Fireman Creative, he served as Director of Corporate Sales and Marketing at PMI in downtown Pittsburgh. He is as passionate about producing powerful communication tools as he is about fulfilling his dream by launching a product that will use technology to bring people together.
