还 (hái) + Positive Adjective
还 (hái) when used before a commendatory adjective may indicate that something is acceptable if not truly outstanding.
A: 你对那家旅馆的印象怎么样?(What was your impression of that hotel?)
B: 还好。 (It’s okay.)
这个厨房还可以,挺干净的。(This kitchen is all right. It’s pretty clean.)
