Fatima 100th Anniversary

100th Anniversary of Fatima

Oct. 13, 2017 was the 100th Anniversary of what is called the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima, Portugal. This was seen by at least 70,000 people and was reported in the Portugese newspapers, including the vigorously Masonic and anti-Christian O Seculo.

The three shepherd children had seen a vision on the 13th of every month since May of that year. She said that she had been sent by God to warn the world of impending catastrophe if people did not amend their lives and turn to God. If they did, she said, the War would end and there would be peace. She promised a miracle in October, ‘so that all might believe.’ A huge crowd arrived, mostly on foot in torrential rain, on the appointed day. It included reporters from the Anti-Catholic press who had come to gleefully report the coming debacle. The Portugese government had confidently predicted that the Faith would be completely gone from Portugal in a single generation.

On the 13th October, at midday by the sun, the clouds abruptly parted and the sun, although not dimming in brightness, became able to be looked at. For 15 minutes it was seen to spin in the sky, shooting out brilliant coloured rays that coloured the landscape, and dancing around in the sky. This was seen, not only by the huge crowd at Fatima, but from another village 12 miles away, whose inhabitants were not expecting to see anything at all. Eventually, the crowd saw the sun rush down towards the earth. All were convinced it was the end of the world. Some screamed in terror, others lifted their heads in exultation. One witness said during these moments, ‘O God, how great is your power!’ Then the sun returned to its normal state. The people and the ground, who had all been saturated, were now not only dry but warm. Many who had illnesses found themselves instantaneously cured. Most had come expecting a miracle, but nobody had expected anything remotely like this. The three children themselves saw the Holy Family blessing the world.

This was not done ‘in a corner.’ The secular press had no option but to publish what the reporters had seen. [’Why haven’t we heard all about this?’ is a question asked only by those who believe the Mass Media gives an entirely accurate and unbiassed account of what goes on in the world.]

There was a very great upsurge of Faith in Portugal. Within a very short time, the atheist Portuguese government had collapsed.

And in Russia, within two weeks after this, the Bolsheviks stormed the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg and inaugurated the Communist Revolution.

This is the only time in history that a major public miracle was predicted, to the hour, months ahead of time. The Lady in the vision had continued: ‘If not, another and worse war would break out… Russia will spread her errors throughout the world, fomenting wars and persecutions. The good will be martyred, the Holy Father will have much to suffer, various nations will be annihilated. [Next section never published, but believed to predict a wholesale loss of Faith, led from above by the Church itself] ... in the end, the Holy Father will consecrate Russia, and she will be converted, and God will grant a period of peace to the world.’

One of the three shepherd children, Sr Lucy, who lived into her nineties, was always adamant that, if the world did not turn back to God by prayer and amendment of life, certain nations would be wiped off the face of the earth before the final ‘period of peace.’

The Public Consecration of Russia, which has not yet been carried out, has been requested as an Act of Penance for the Church (risking worldwide ridicule), in reparation for the negligence which had led up to the victory of Marxism, and to bless that country, which is chosen to lead the renewal.

The headline of the Masonic and explicitly anti-Catholic newspaper O Seculo (The World) reads,

COMO O SOL BAILOU AO MEIO DIA EM FÁTIMA

How the sun danced at Mid-day in Fatima
