Dan McDowell
 
is the Director of Instructional Technology for the Grossmont Union HS District. Before moving into his current position, he taught the Social Sciences and Photography at West Hills High School for 18 years.  In 2008, he was selected Teacher of the Year for the Grossmont Union High School District. He earned an MA in Educational Technology from SDSU and has teaches graduate-level courses in that department.  In Spring 2007, he became a Google Certified Teacher after attending the Google Teachers Academy in Santa Monica, CA.

Dan has been involved in technology staff development since 1996. He has led 200+ workshops and presentations focusing on the integration of technology into the curriculum throughout the Grossmont District, county, state, and national level.

Dan also served on the PBS Teachers advisory board for five years and wrote web-based curriculum for PBS programing.

Reuben Hoffman  is a Digital Learning Coach for the Grossmont Union High School District.  Before moving into his current position, he taught the Social Sciences and Technology at West Hills High School for 18 years.  He was selected Teacher of the Year for the Grossmont Union High School District in 2010.  He earned an MA in Curriculum Development and Educational Technology at National University. Reuben is recognized as WeVideo Ambassador, Google for Education Certified Trainer and Google Certified Innovator.

Reuben has been an Ed Tech Lead Learner for his district since 2010. He has led 150+ workshops and presentations focusing on the integration of technology into the curriculum throughout his district and at a county, state, and national level.

Reuben is also the Vice President of San Diego CUE (SDCUE), where he helps to promote Ed Tech goodness to San Diego educators.
