Collect Data / Give Online Quizzes

One of the cooler features of Google Docs is the ability to collect information directly into a spreadsheet. I've used this feature to

• collect e-mail addresses from students,
• have students submit project URLs, and
• collect data for our upcoming WASC Report.

While not as sophisticated as Survey Monkey, it can replace a paid service like that for many purposes.

One teacher has created some instructions on how to create a quiz using Google Forms. A screencast is available here.
