With the web now an integral part of everyone's lives, having a web-homebase is key way to keep organized, easily connect with the school community, and provide a jumping off point to the rest of the Internet.
Part 1 - Google Sites
- What is a Google Site and why should I care?
- A website creator / wiki that allows you to easily create an individual or collaborative website.
- It is free and easy and everyone goes online first these days.
- It also allows to embed Google Docs, Calendars, Picasa, YouTube, and much more!
- Can you show me some examples?

- Set up a Gmail Account if you don't have one (separate from your personal account and you should avoid setting up a Google Account associated with your school e-mail unless you are already using Google Apps).
