Technology Integration 101: Just Add Google Intro (BTSA)

Overview

The use of technology within the sphere of education is no longer just an added element in the K-12 classroom. It must become an integral part of how we as teachers do business and how our students construct their learning. This two-part workshop addresses the following key objectives:

1. Establish the current context of technology within our personal and academic worlds.
2. Examine the available district resources, include Google Apps.
3. Explore the potential of the Google App suite of products for teachers and students.
4. Understand the value and importance of digital collaboration.
5. Experiment with several teacher tools to enhance instruction.
