El Pizarrón Interactivo
Completa las actividades 1, 2, 3 y 9 en la página 24.
Abre tu libro a las páginas 20 y 21 o 23. Pregunta a un compañero preguntas sencillas (simple questions) de las personas en las fotos.
Ejemplo: <pointing at any girl on the page> Es alta? (partner responds sí o no)
Ejemplo: Quién es una muchacha? or Quién es rubio? (partner responds by pointing to the person who matches the description)
Ejemplo: <pointing at any person on the page> Cómo es? (partner describes the person in as much detail as they can)
Una comparación: Make up a character who is opposite in every possible way from you. If you're tall, they are short, if you're a girl, they're a boy. (or make up two characters who are opposites and leave yourself out of it.)
Make a list for each character that includes as many vocabulary words as possible.
Draw: Draw both people, illustrating their traits.
Label: Using Spanish, label the traits. Be sure to use the correct gender of nouns and adjectives.
Keep talking outside the classroom. Find a friend who is taking Spanish or already knows it. Practice what you learn by asking questions about people you both know.
If Adjectives 1 is open on Duolingo, practice that lesson this week.

Make a Venn diagram that includes you, a family member and a friend. Complete it with 25 different descriptions from vocabulary to show how you 3 are similar and different. Do NOT repeat any of your words. Use them ONCE and put them into the right section to show which people they relate to. Do not use the word "no" at all. Absolutely no illustrating or creativity required.
Draw a self portrait of you or someone in your family. Draw and label 20 different features (descriptions). If you can't think of 20, include some things that the person is not. If the adjectives relate to personality, there should be items in the drawing that reflect those personality traits. For example, if the person "no es artistico" then you should draw a picture that they tried to draw. If they're "atlético" then maybe draw a medal or a jersey on them.
Write a poem in Spanish about yourself and the things you are and aren't. Use at least 15 descriptive words from our vocabulary. Write it or type it up neatly and mount it on some construction paper (I have some). Yo soy yo means "I'm me". Make your vocabulary words resemble the words they mean. for example, if you use the word alto (tall), make the word look tall.
Make a word wall, play battleship, Pictionary, Memory or other vocab building activities

Each choice will be graded equally for content, spelling/endings and organization/communication.
