El Flamenco

Learning Target: I can talk about Flamenco and discuss some of its key characteristics.

Flamenco is a style of music with several components: Rhythm, Guitar, Singing and Dance. Watch some of the videos to get a feel for each component.

Flamenco is a type of story-telling. In its earliest forms, it had no words and you could feel the story through the energy, pace and volume of the singer. Both men and women participate as dancers and singers.
