Name: Jessica Garcia

Bachelor's Degree: Spanish from University of Montevallo

Master's Degree: Instruction and Curriculum of Technology from Grand Canyon University

Teaching Experience: I started teaching Spanish in 2004 at Columbiana Middle School. I began teaching at both CMS and SCHS in 2010. I have taught 6th-8th exploratory classes, Spanish 1, Spanish 2, and Spanish 3. I also serve sometimes as a facilitator for students taking ACCESS classes online. I served as half or full technology coordinator for SCHS from 2013-2018. In 2022, I left CMS and began working full time at SCHS.

Travels: I have visited Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Nicaragua for about a week each, and I have stayed in Mexico for a combined total of 13 weeks. We have a home which we share with some of my husband's family.
