Golf

The golf season started off very rocky. All the fields that are around us are closed due to all the snow that kept coming and never leaving.They were finally able to get on the field to practice a few weeks before districts. There are 5 different boy that golfed this year, there is Karson Bohn, Leland Dexter, Morgan Reynolds, Michael Grant, and Colton Carter. The coaches are Sarah and David Carter.

 The first tournament was in Salmon: Karson shot a 96, Leland shot a 105, Morgan shot a 101, Michael shot a 115, and Colton shot a 121. The second tournament was in Salmon again: Karson shot a 99, Leland shot a 93, Morgan shot a 117, Michael shot a 115, and Colton shot a 113. The third tournament was in Rigby: Karson shot a 84, Leland shot a 98, Morgan shot a 104, Michael shot a 118, and Colton shot a 122. The fourth tournament was in Challis: Karson shot a 94, Leland shot a 92, Morgan shot a 99, Michael shot a 123, and Colton shot a 113. Districs this year was in Challis: the boys placed 2nd with Karson shooting 94, Leland shooting 100, Morgan shooting 100, Michael shooting 121, and Colton shooting 139. They are now going to state on the 29th and 30th in Idaho Falls.

Based on how they have done throughout the season, we predict that they will shot near their averages or better. Here are their average: Karson has shot a 96, Leland has shot a 98, Morgan has shot a 105, Michael has shot a 119, and Cotlen has shot a 122.
