ASHTON, IDAHO
New to North Fremont this year are Mr. Durfee, Mr. Kaze, Mrs. Davis, Miss Wilder, and Miss Peterson.
Miss Davis, who is the new math teacher, said she knows the principal because he taught her husband science in high school and that was one reason she came to North Fremont.
Mr. Durfee, who is the new English teacher, for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade English said that one reason that he came to north Fremont was because of the small-town feel that he had while growing up.
Mr. Kaze is the new Spanish teacher who filled a big role because our last Spanish teacher moved on to teach at Madison Middle School. He told us that he is excited to get to know everybody and be a part of a regular school.
Miss Wilder, who teaches English for 7th 8th graders, came to the north because she heard good things about the school and the kids going there.
Miss Peterson is the new science teacher for 7th and 8th graders. She also said she came because she heard good things about the school and the kids.
Mr. Hathaway has been here for a while and we like him because he gives us different opportunities to pursue our dreams. We asked Mr. Hathaway why he came to north Fremont. He said he has a lot of family in this district and he has worked with the district for several years and wanted to be a part of our school.
That's all the new teachers we have this year. There is an accreditation coming up, state officials will meet up and come to our school to see if students are meeting the credits to graduate.
