We all love Christmas and all of the pretty lights that come with it. What better way to experience lights, and get a feeling that Christmas is coming, than seeing a lot of lights light up all at once.

Lakeside Lodge in Island Park definitely knows what they are doing when it comes to their annual Lighting of The Lodge event. People from all over come to see the amazing experience. They decorate their lodge in what seems like a million lights, and when the countdown reaches 1, they flip a switch and all the lights come on at once and fireworks start blaring in the air. Before the lighting of the lodge happens, throughout the day, they do sleigh rides, and they even do Toys for Tots so that little kids can get presents! While the lights go off, you can also take a pic with Santa! He is always riding around on his Razor that is decked out with lights.

It really is a magical experience that everyone of any age can come and enjoy. Bring lots of hot chocolate and wear lots of layers so you stay warm watching this magical experience.
