Rockefeller Tree

Every year since 1931, people have donated a giant christmas tree to the Rockefeller Center. This year, it is a 79 foot Norway Spruce tree that will be fully decorated before christmas. The Norway spruce came from Elkton, Maryland. This is the first time a tree has come from that state since this tradition started. Devon and Julie Price are the couple that donated the tree and were very excited to see the tree go towards this tradition.

The Norway spruce will be covered with more than 50,000 lights and a 900 pound star. They will light this tree on December 1, 2021 to start off the holiday season!
