In the year of 1878, the sport of Cross Country was invented by William C. Vosburgh. This was created to mainly train for sports like track, but became so much more. On this year's team, there were 9 seniors. For the boys, this included Max Palmer, Truman Renouf, Tyler Burke, and Caleb Cecil. For the girls, there was Christy Harshbarger, Lindsay Turpin, Maren Jorgenson, Cassandra Torres, and Brooke Reynolds. All 9 of these seniors ran their best at each tournament. They even all went to state. Some exciting news for the boys was that they placed first for the 2021-2022 season. All 9 of these seniors did an exceptional job representing North Fremont High School. Not only recognizing the seniors but the rest of the team also did a great job as well. Christy Harshbarger, states, "I loved the leadership we had within the team this year! We worked together to encourage each other and accomplish our goals! [The] Senior season couldn't have ended better!" Tyler Burke mentioned that "this has been the best season of my life. I genuinely don't think I've worked harder for anything else." North Fremont should be extremely proud of how far everyone has come and how well the 2021-2022 team did this season.
