Cheating is a big problem in almost all schools in america. Whether we like it or not there are many ways to cheat. There is now google, and apps that can be used. A new app called chatGPD. 

ChatGPD this tool can create any essay at any level you ask it too. You could ask it to write you an essay and turn it in that way. However with this new technology teachers also now have the ability to see if an essay is written by chatGPD. Along with chat GPD there are other apps to help students cheat. There is photo math, mathway, guathmath, and big ideas math solutions and I'm sure many more apps to cheat. 

I do not believe that all apps are bad, all of the apps I have mentioned can also have a positive effect. Sometimes our math teacher will tell us to work out the problem and then check it with one of these apps. They can be used in either of those ways but many kids will take advantage of the sources they have and that is when it becomes a problem. 

When you cheat it's easy to tell, because when you cheat on your assignments but then when the test rolls around and you do terribly on the test it's obvious. Because when teachers make it so we cannot open other tabs or have phones on us that eliminates cheating. I think that it is a very sad thing that we have to take these precautions, and I also know it is not everyone who cheats but that one person can ruin it for everyone. When one person cheats in school the respect and trust goes down for the entire class making a type of ¨Punishment¨ for everyone including the people who are always good. 

Ik feel as though it would be a very hard thing to be a teacher in today's society. With all of the new technology that is always appearing and the new apps that are always being made. Teachers have to stay up to date on what their students are doing and what technology their students know about. Cheating has always been a problem ever since the dawn of time but now with the world revolving around us it's getting worse and worse.
