This year I got to talk to some of the teachers and get some of their high school reflections.
First I asked about their favorite memory from high school.
Second I asked for their favorite memory of this year's seniors.
Mrs. Allen
1. ¨My high school was the Bullard "Knights" and I was the mascot my senior year. I got to ride my horse dressed as a "Knight" in the homecoming parade!¨
2. ¨Favorite memory of the class of 2022 is the fact that they were a part of winning 2 State Academic Championships for Boys Basketball, 2 State Academic Championships for Girls Volleyball, 1 State Academic Championship for Girls Softball, and 1 State Academic Championship for Boys Baseball during their four years at North Fremont High School. They worked just as hard on the "academic field" as they did on the "athletic field!¨
Mr. Channell
1. ¨When my hip-hop tuba group got into the high school talent show... We were probably the best hip-hop tuba group in the school.¨
2. ¨I'm going to miss this senior class a lot. They can be so creative and funny. Probably the thing that will stay with me is all of the weird costumes that they wear on the dress-up days.¨
Mrs. Carter
¨Graduation!¨
¨ Watching them grow up and get ready to take the next steps in their lives.¨

1. I loved high school! Even while going to school, I knew that I loved it. School came easy for me, so I didn’t have to stress over it at all, so that was nice. I had so many good memories, some I can’t share for legal reasons, but the memory that sticks out the most to me was when we were playing basketball, it was January, cold, windy, and nasty. Our manager, Spencer, he was a great kid we all loved him. This kid LOVED Mtn Dew. I guarantee he drank gallons of that stuff every week. From Ririe we had to go over the pass into Teton. On our way Spencer pulled out a 2-liter bottle of Mtn Dew, warm and nasty, it had been in his backpack all day. We had to bright idea to get him to chug it as fast as he could. Now Spencer was never not going to do a challenge. So, he drank the entire 2-liter bottle of Mtn Dew in about 3 minutes. We all started cheering and the ride continued, going up over the pass you could tell that his stomach was rumbling by the outrageous amounts of times he was belching. We no more than pulled in the parking lot to Teton High School and you seen Spencer sit up, hold his mouth, and his cheeks expand. He was going to spew. The bus driver open the doors and Spencer ran off the bus, the best part was that he let it fly right onto the rock that says, “Welcome to Teton High School, Home of the Redskins.” Now it was January that puke instantly froze to their rock and there was no shortage of it. Funniest thing I have seen. That’s just one great memory. High School was a great time, I encourage all of you to make the most of it.
2. This senior class is a great group of kids. I have had the privilege of teaching them every year since 8th grade. Now I don’t have one memory that really sticks out to me, but I have a lot of great other memories. From all the fun times building the greenhouse, going on an array of trips, shop experiences and all other aspects of High School with these hooligans has been a blast. I have enjoyed every moment with them. Now with that said, they have pushed my buttons a time or thirteen, but they have been great students. I hope I have taught them enough for them to do well in the real world, and they have certainly taught me a lot.
Mrs. Hanxleden
1. "I think my favorite memories from high school were of course being involved in art, during my senior year I got to make a large tile mural for the front of school. Another thing I had a lot of fun memories from was being a part of the film news crew, filming sports and making movies for the school news broadcast. We got to run around at lunch and 6th period interviewing students and teachers, making different wacky news segments and then spent the next 2 weeks editing the videos.¨
2. ¨My favorite memories with the seniors... I don't think I could just pick one, I have enjoyed getting to know them over the last 2 years that I have been here. I have enjoyed seeing them improve and grow in their art, I have especially loved seeing their progress on their murals right now. I think catching parts of their debates/arguments over TV shows and movies was particularly entertaining. I also have really enjoyed playing D&D and helping with the musicals. They are some sweet and funny kiddos and I'm glad I had the chance to teach some of them and get to know a few others in different school activities."
Mr. Davidson
1. ¨Even though high school was a long time ago for me, I have lots of favorite memories. One of the best is of the night we ended Teton High School’s three-year winning streak in basketball. The gym was packed by the 2nd quarter of the JV game – people standing around the ends of the court even. Both local television stations had crews there. And, boy was it ever loud! It was a pretty big deal for us all those years ago.¨
2. ¨I think the best memory I have of this year's seniors is watching Cassandra, Zack, Lindsey, Tyler, Anna, and Payton receive this year's BPA Professional Cup at the State Business Professionals of America conference. The entire chapter contributed to this award but it really was senior leadership that made it happen.¨
