Plans After High School

By: Jorden Moser

It is that time of the year when the senior class of 2022 is deciding what they want to do with their lives when their high school career is over. Whether it is going to be college, a mission, or just working. I have asked 5 out of the 44 seniors here at North Fremont High School what their plans are after high school. Cassandra Torres plans after high school to serve in the Army Reserve for 8 years while going to college. Cassandra is also planning to get her associate's degree in Spanish and her bachelor's degree in Social work. Next up is Kacie Anderson: she is planning on going to Boise State University. Kacie got accepted into the honors program there which means she will be attending smaller-sized classes and will be staying in the honor dorms. Her plan is to get her bachelor's degree in either biology or chemistry with a minor in psychology. After getting her degree, she wants to go to medical school to either be an interventional radiologist or a physician. Max Palmer, who is also graduating this year, is planning to go on a mission in Independence, Missouri. Max also plans to go to BYU-Idaho after serving his mission. Tyler Burke is another senior who plans to do a mission except he will be serving his in Detroit, Michigan. After Tyler serves his 2-year mission, he plans to attend BYU-Idaho to get a degree in computer science. Brailynn Watson plans to work until this next spring where she will be attending the College of Eastern Idaho to study Dental Assisting. As you can see, these are very dedicated students who have their whole lives ahead of them and who can’t wait to get out into the world.
