There are many different types of people and the type of presents they want. There can definitely be all kinds of presents whether they are big, small, loud, or quiet. But have you ever wondered what presents are the most common? Let’s find out the most common presents between a few different age groups such as: 5-10 year olds, 11-16 year olds, and 17-20 year olds.
5-10 year olds: These presents are more than likely going to be some kind of toys, because what younger kid doesn't enjoy toys? Starting with 5 year olds, I did some research and they really like toys that they can interact with and make things. There were a lot of art sets and things that they could make such as stuffed animals and slime. Now more towards the 9-10 year olds, the most commonly asked for still went along the lines of hands-on toys like Beyblades, and they even have started asking for popping fidgets.
11-16 year olds: They are getting towards the age where they are more interested in technology and video gaming, especially if they are boys. Starting with 11-13 year olds, the most common gifts they asked for were Bluetooth speakers, headphones, and for the girls, they commonly asked for clothes, and even DIY kits to make soaps and bath bombs. Moving up to the 14-16 year olds, they are still involved with technology, so they asked for LED light strips for their rooms, personalized phone cases (if they had a phone), and they also started asking for the most expensive pair of shoes they could find.
17-20 year olds: They are older, so they can never make up their minds on what they want, but when they do know. This age group is definitely different between the girls and the boys. So starting with the girls, they like to ask for new phones, clothes, perfume, they even ask for different kinds of plants for their bedrooms, and even makeup and jewelry. Now for the boys, they ask for AirPods, PlayStations and Xboxes, hoodies, TVs, and they even ask for their favorite brands of shoes.
As you can see, there are definitely differences between the age groups and what they ask for as they get older, but it is also pretty accurate because what little kids don’t like toys, and what teenagers don’t like technology?
