These are only a few of the teachers that used to go to North Fremont high school. This is their favorite memory, most embarrassing memory, and if there are any high school friends that they are still in touch with.
Sara Moon, Class of 1989
Favorite memory? Going to the state championship football and winning 2 years in a row, and losing 2 years in a row. Being in the school plays The Sound of Music, Annie, and 7 Brides for Seven Brothers.
Most embarrassing memory? During a prep rally assembly, they randomly asked out kids onto the stage to answer some questions about their favorite sport. At the time her favorite sport was softball, they asked how many does it take. She said, nine people. Everyone started laughing because they told the audience these questions were on their first kiss.
Any High school friends they still talk with? Still in touch with a few of her friends.
Trenna Howell 1974
Favorite memory? Playing in the band. At that time we had a good-sized band, running around 50-60 members. We would win Superior ratings whenever we went to clinics. We also marched in the Blackfoot fair parades and our homecoming parades. One year it rained on the Blackfoot parade and our uniforms shrunk. Also on game days first thing in the morning, the cheerleaders and the students would gather in the front hall and cheer for the team.
Most embarrassing memory? We had a talent show, and my friends talked me into singing fair canticle in a trio with them. We practice our parts a lot. Mine was the harmony. When we got up to sing, they started giggling. I tried to sing my part but really couldn’t without them.
Any High school friends they still talk with? I married one, so I see him often, and I still keep up with one other friend
Mike Davidson
Favorite memory? Band trip to Logan, UT, my freshman year, or maybe Ag/drama class, or maybe Teton Home basketball game my senior year, or maybe graduation, too many to pick one.
Most embarrassing memory? Probably the band trip to Logan, UT, my freshman year - after the fact.
Any High school friends they still talk with? Yes, quite a few - a few days ago.
Heidi Codling.
Favorite memory? I took stats for the football team my sophomore year. It was the year we won state. My favorite memory was standing on the turf in the Kibbie Dome and seeing all the people from Ashton who drove for 10 hours to watch the game
Most embarrassing memory? To do a skit when I was running for president of my class. It was in the auditorium in front of everyone. I don't remember very much about the skit, but I do remember that I had to end the skit with a piece of gum in my mouth. The gum fell on the floor and got rolled around a bit. I knew I had to have it in my mouth to end the skit, so I popped it back in my mouth. YUCK!
Any High school friends they still talk with? Yes, I am in touch with quite a few of them. The last time I talked to one was a week ago.
