Every year on October 31st people all around the country and even in different countries like Ireland, Canada, The U.K. ect, celebrate Halloween. Halloween originated in the eighth century. People would wear costumes to get rid of the ghost at the festival of Samhain(History.com).
In America we celebrate Halloween by dressing up as our favorite creature, movie character or anything you want! And on the night of October 31st children and even adults of all ages go around trick or treating. If you don't know what Trick or Treating is, it's when kids or even adults go around knocking on peoples doors asking for treats and candy by saying “Trick or Treat”!.
In Japan people celebrate Halloween by having a Kawasaki parade, though halloween is seemyling just for kids this is not true for Japan. Both Ireland and Canada celebrate Halloween very similar to America! A couple other countries like Italy celebrate Halloween by what they call a La Festa di Ognissanti which is also known as All Saints Day.
As you can see Halloween is celebrated around the world! Many countries like Japan, Ireland, Canada, Italy and many other countries celebrate Halloween in their own unique ways and find ways to celebrate their cultures along with it.
