My name is Joseph Kim and I will be your teacher for Physical Education this year. Welcome to the 2021-22 school year! I am very excited to get back to the classroom and meet you all in person!
A few things about myself:
I was born in Los Angeles, but moved to San Diego at a young age.
I received my bachelor's degree from UC Santa Barbara majoring in Business Economics and accounting and a minor in Sports management
I am happily married with two young children aged 3 and 5.
I have been teaching for 15 years, 13 at Clairemont
I want all of our students to develop a lifelong passion for fitness, exercise, and health. Whether that be lifting weights, hiking, biking, running, crossfitting, playing team/individual sports. You only have one body, so take care of it.
