Daren Sparks

I began my journey in television in college as a Sports Anchor. I took an internship at Bay City Television in 2000, landing paid positions in the Production and Sports Departments. It was while there, at Fox6 News, that I enhanced my skills as a videographer and editor. From there I worked at other stations like: KUSI, ESPN, The Tennis Channel and Fox Sports West.

A teaching opportunity came along and I jumped at the chance to work and share the knowledge I had gained from so many others along my Journey.

In my class, we approach the basics of Video Production all the way up to college level courses such as Broadcast Journalism. After my class, I am hopeful each student has the knowledge to advance along this pathway in either College or a Career with this Technical Education
