Ms. Clark teaches biology, physics, and online lab at Clairemont High School. This is her seventh year at CHS and she is excited to be back in person.
Ms. Clark is originally from the Chicago area. She has bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Russian Language & Literature from Northern Illinois University and in Wildlife Conservation Biology from Arizona State University. She pursued her teaching credential in secondary science education at National University. Prior to becoming a teacher, Ms. Clark worked as a wildlife biologist with RECON, an environmental consulting firm in San Diego. This experience gives Ms. Clark a wealth of experience to draw from in guiding her students in connecting science content to the real world.
Ms. Clark is married with two sons and lives in Mira Mesa. Her favorite activities are snorkeling at the La Jolla Cove, hiking in the mountains, being at Yellowstone or Zion National Parks, and watching Padres games. She finds joy in watching events in which her children or students are participating or performing.
