Studying at SAE Byron Bay is being an amazing experience in my life, and a huge step in following a career in the Music Industry. After 5 trimesters at SAE I could learn and develop my skills to become an industry practitioner, getting proper instructions from highly qualified professionals who are helping me to develop all the necessary skills to build a successful career.
Since last year, we could have great experiences when learning about numerous relevant topics, and developing our own projects to apply and achieve all the learning outcomes.
Below there's a selection of the most relevant projects that I got involved in this trimester, as well as some previous work and other music projects that I run, out of uni time.
By working together with people from all over the world, I could build great relationships and see their creativity, culture, and all skill sets together! It was always incredible to find out brilliant talents to collaborate with, building great relationships and future partnerships! After all the efforts, I feel satisfied, proud and happy with the results, my learning process, the friends I made, the staff members I could engage with, my improvement in the industry, and the development of my creativity and techniques!
Big thanks to my family and all the friends who support it!

A journey of meticulously crafted sounds and memorable melodies performed at the SAE Byron Bay Open Day! An Ableton Live performance exploring multiple instruments and effects, a fusion of Jazz and Neo Soul, with a touch of Hip Hop and Dub vibes. Big thanks for everyone who came to the event, to all the Audio Crew who assisted us, the Staff Members, and the Music Students Anna and Dani who jumped on the stage to play along with us!
These are some music projects that I run, where I am able to apply what I have been learning at SAE, developing new ways to produce and perform live music.
Key: Gm
Instrumentation: Pads, Lead Synths, Arpeggios, Bells.
Sound Elements: Nature Ambience, City Ambience, Wind, Waterfall, Birds, Crickets, Cows, Wolves, Wind Chimes.
In this project, we developed a portfolio of original music productions for non-linear narrative media forms.
I composed several pieces of non-linear media that were made to fit the creative departments of Games, VR/AR, Theatres, Sound Installations, and Interactive Soundscapes.
There was a huge combination of Composed Music and Sounds to develop 3 different Soundscape Environments. Each of them can be differently experienced and my intention was to create different emotions and feelings through each of them.
The key point of this project session is the Randomization of layers, sounds, effects, panning, music elements, etc. There is a huge amount of randomization settings that make the piece impossible to be looped or replayed the same way, which creates a nice immersive and introspective feeling.
All the pieces are made to be Live Interactive, so in a real scenario, I set multiple Mystery Boxes where the person can interact and produce sounds that match with the piece instantly.
This event is called Intalks, and it was the first work placement I completed this trimester. A group of entrepreneur friends hosted this event on the 10th of March at a Creative Hub on the Gold Coast, and that was similar to a TED Talk structure.
There were 6 speakers covering different subjects in a 20 minutes presentation for each. The event was made for students, local businesses, and entrepreneurs, to share knowledge, experience, and create a network with the local community. The event had around 70 guests and it required a small-scale sound system, as well as someone to look after the music selection and entertainment in between the presentations.
This job is related to my course and Gustavo Cominese could mentor and assist me to achieve the expectations they had. The event had a duration of 4hours, and we spent another 4hours to load in, set up, soundcheck and pack down. We also had a couple of meetings and gear checks on the days prior to the event.
