This trimester we were tasked with completing our major project. In this project I collaborated with Jarrah, we decided to do a comic which would challenge both our 3D and 2D skills.

This project highlighted the skills we developed throughout our university degree, comparing this project to the first project I did there is an unimaginable difference. I can see how much my skill has improved and how this degree has enhanced my skills to be able to transfer my imagination onto page, I have always had a wild imagination and I'm glad I was able to learn the skills and techniques to bring them to life.

This project was a challenging yet amazing project to be apart of, it was really refreshing to develop a whole story from scratch and then bring that story into the visual world, so people can express the same envision we have.

I hope you enjoy :)

Reflection

Before this project I had only been specialising in one unique area each trimester, but coming into this tri was a challenge, as it drew out all the previous skills we had learn over the years and incorporated them into one project. It also challenged our ability to work in a team, which can be pretty challenging at times if your with the wrong people or haven't worked together before. Luckily I had Jarrah as my colab, we have done projects together before and we work well with each other, I was over joyed to have been able to do my major with him as he is very skilled and a joy to work with.

This project was a challenge for both of us, and to A LOT of work, way more then I realized but as a team we got through it and developed an amazing project by the end off it. I learnt a lot of new skills this trimester as I was acting as the producer I had to stay in contact/ check up with anyone we asked to help us which I was not used to, also keeping our workspace organize and writing up asset checklists and shot checklists, Nigel was a major help in this part of the process. I also developed skills in web development since I had to figure out Webflow as it was our presenting platform. Over all this trimester has been amazing.
