The Drivers Best Practice Assessment (DBPA) has been provided by the Data Collaborative project by leveraging our resources and Team to implement the assessment. The DBPA assessment is a way to evaluate how well your organization is set up to implement with fidelity the specific evidence-based practices and strategies to achieve specific outcomes. To maintain the DBPA assessment within Participants of the Data Collaborative, we have provided a few different options. To maintain this option, you can have external consultants, train internal staff or implement informally (without training, least suggested option) to continue using the DBPA assessment.
Consultants
The Data Collaborative hired outside consultants to administer the DBPA. They can be found below.
Training Internal Staff
To have staff trained on administering the DBPA, please inquire by emailing nirn@unc.edu for more information. You can also read more about the assessment here.
Below, you will have access to specific resources that the Data Collaborative uses to administer and generate the reports for the DBPA. While we suggest either hiring consultants or having staff members trained in administering the assessment, we still think it's important to give access to the resources to implement it.
DBPA Report Template
This is a template the Data Collaborative used to generate the reports of the DBPA results. You can use this as a framework to generate your participating organization(s) report(s).
Please contact team members at Read Charlotte to gain access to specific documents. They are the gatekeepers to any documents that contain existing data. Please contact them at info@readcharlotte.org.
Please contact Angela Preston if you are interested in replicating and customizing the Drivers Best Practices Assessment (DBPA) to your specific project. She may be contacted at apreston724@gmail.com.
The Data Collaborative Team worked with NIRN and hired a consultant to provide additional support in administering the DBPA assessment.
