Training is primarily focused on reaching the first two levels of Bloom’s taxonomy — remembering and understanding — for knowledge and skill and to begin transitioning Partners’ mindsets. The Data Collaborative Team uses Training as a platform to introduce new core concepts — represented in the front-end facing model manual — to Data Collaborative Partners. These core concepts are introduced and explained to Partners during Training sessions. In addition, Training sessions are used as a vehicle to build the Data Collaborative community and identity. It is an opportunity for Partners to interact, share lessons learned and highlight the value the Data Collaborative project creates with one another. We understand that Training sessions are not the last step in building the necessary capacity and culture for the community but we see it as the catalyst.
Training includes three (3) different categories:
Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI)
The acronym stands for Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed. This section reflects ownership and the role for individual team members in Training. This is a breakdown of how the work is distributed in the team.
The work has a lot of moving parts; the Data Collaborative Team has processes in place to make sure that everything is accounted for and done in a timely manner. This section is where we store the repetitive processes that we have refined for this body of work.
Each body of work has had documents and tools built for the success of it. Here you will find ready to use resources that help support the facilitation of Capacity Building.
