The Data for Learning track in the Data Collaborative is predominantly responsible for handling and managing the body of work that focuses on the data. They, with the participation of the other roles, will ensure the collection of the right data, manage and access the different data visualization tools, and track the data collection processes throughout the organization.
In many situations, the Data for Learning track was someone who was comfortable with technology, had familiarity with data related software (Google Sheets, Excel, Data Studio, Power Bi, etc.), and focused on operations and logistics. It is not necessary that this role has an in-depth understanding of the literacy practice (unless they were responsible for conducting observations).
Below you will find selection criteria that we used to help us define and communicate which staff members within the different organizations would be most appropriate for the Data for Learning track within the Data Collaborative. These are supposed to be considered, and used, as suggestions and not absolutes.
