The people involved in Training and Coaching were critical to successful outcomes. Going through and reviewing the individual pages of the Data Collaborative Team will be a helpful starting point. The Team's background, roles and insights all touch upon the importance of Training and Coaching. Each individual has broken down what felt significant and also their insights about what helps growth occur versus regression. The pages reflect the balance between the art and science of working with people and how each individual deserves to be met where they are in the process.

Training and Coaching are two out of the four areas that the Data Collaborative Team used to develop capacity in the participating Partners in the community. They were also the first introduction to material and the first line of defense to reinforce understanding.
The Capacity Building section for Training and Coaching really focuses on the delivery used when giving Training and Coaching. These sections can be viewed as a turnkey. Here the systems, processes and resources we've created to deliver a (mostly) smooth training or coaching session can be found. All that is needed is a little prep, rehearsal and coordination. The rest of the work has been ironed out. While we like to think that all of our turnkey training sessions (found here) are perfect for all organizations, we realize that this is far from true. In order to continually improve the delivery of our Training and Coaching, we have adopted specific design cycles that have provided a strong road map to ensure that we deliver both quality content Training and Coaching, as well as an enjoyable experience that creates energy for the work.
In our operations section we will provide you the supporting documents we used to facilitate the design process of both Training and Coaching sessions. The purpose of this document is to lend our perspectives and what was valuable to us when creating sessions. It should be highlighted that our Net Promoter Score average increased each year of the Data Collaborative. We partly attribute this to really listening and capturing the voices of our Partners in feedback. We admit, sometimes we pushed the envelope of our capacity, and the learnings from our failures were equally rewarding in showing what not to do.
