Have you ever heard of a book/knitting store where you can knit and read at the same time? Well, it all started when Lynn Bloch had a dream of opening a store where you can be in a silent read-and-knit. You can buy books and yarn when you're there, then sit down and do what you want.

She wanted to open a store this summer, and her dream came true. She opened it on October 17, 2026. Lynn Broch said, in Historic Downtown Ellettsville, to combine my passions for yarn, fiber arts, and reading into a community-centered creative space.” She loves knitting and having silent time.
She wants the store to be bigger and more popular in the upcoming future. A place where you can just sit down and just do what you want, in quiet, read or knit, or just go there to do something of your own. On Thursday, Knitting Romance opens from 9:30 to 5:00; on Friday, 9:30 to 5:00; on Saturday, 9:00 to 4:00; on Sunday, 10:00 to 2:00.
Lynn Brooch said,” I aim for the store to be a creative destination combining a curated selection of yarn and books, of romantic literature.“ It is a good place to calm your mind. The reason she opened it was that she wanted a place to read and knit at the same time, in a calm place. It is open almost every day except Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Overall, you should visit. It is a nice place to go and sit to read and knit. Just sit in the quiet and do what you want at Knitting Romance.
