Punch the Monkey

Born on July 26, 2025 he is only 7 months old. Also abandoned on that day were the zookeepers. And in late February he became known as a Punch fan Henry Edwards said this. “I like Punch because he is funny” Soon after his birth and abandonment the Ichikawa zoo gave Punch a stuffed monkey that because of the lack of having no mother he now thinks the stuffed monkey is his mom. He carries his IKEA mother everywhere. The zoo spent about $200 on the monkey. The zoo has to do the things that the mom should have done. 

Later on he found a “big sister”, Akubi. She let him sit by her. She would also groom him. He started to get signs of friendship. He started to play but would run back to his fake mom if he got scared. Then some days would leave his mom in the corner while he played all day. Then he became less of a human and more of a monkey. He also would wrestle and chase other monkeys. The other monkeys stopped being so ruff with him because now he had two adult monkeys on his side. He was finally accepted as a monkey in the troop.
