The Caffeinated Cook

Amy Meador, owner of The Caffeinated Cook, shares that she used to work in banking before her life as a small business owner. “I worked in banking for many years,” says Meador. “I was really just getting tired of all the regulations and the rules, and they changed stuff all the time, and I just was burnt out. And I wanted to do something, and I wanted to be the boss of something I did. And I wanted it to be something that mattered to me.” Besides running her café, Amy also enjoys reading, relaxing, and taking baths. Another fun fact about Amy Meador is that she used to DJ at the roller skating rink!

If you’ve ever been to The Caffeinated Cook, you know they are most known for their number 1 bestseller, the lemon blueberry scones. Amy Meador says, “I would say probably behind the scones are the breakfast sandwiches. And now that we have the Scholars Osiago bagels that you can get them on and really flying out the door.” With their scones, breakfast sandwiches, and soups, The Caffeinated Cook truly has so much to offer!

The Caffeinated Cook was established in 2022 on February 15th. Since then, the business has been successfully run by Amy Meador. The Caffeinated Cook was granted a five-star overall rating for safety, taste, and variety! One fact about The Caffeinated Cook is that they make all their scones homemade! “All the pastries are made in-house, so those are all made from scratch here,” says Meador. “The soups we do get from other places for our distributors and stuff, but all the pastries and the biscuits and gravy are scratch-made.”
