Have you ever heard of the book ¨School Bus Graveyard¨? Well, it's about a group of teens who go on a school field trip to Sevana. While they got to look around, the group decided to go to a haunted house called the ¨Sorrel Weed House¨, where the group leader, Ashlen Banner, runs into an inconvenience. Our favorite protagonist, Ashlen Banner, is more on the quiet side. She doesn't like to talk to people, and she did not grow up with friends. But that's what she liked about her life. Nothing but silence. No drama, no distractions, no loud noises.
Ashlen has a special ability to hear way better than the average person. But that does come with some downsides, though. Even though she can hear so well, she is susceptible to sounds. She must wear earplugs or soundproof headphones; if she doesn't, well, it's not very peaceful anymore. She can also hear… odd noises—like noises that aren't there. She nicknamed them phantom noises. That Ashlen Banner for you.
Who are Aiden and Ben Clark? Well, Aiden and Ben are close cousins that just got caught up in this whole mess of a wonderfully weird book. Aiden Clark is extremely excellent, always smiling, and constantly looking for something to do. Ben is a sweet guy and cares so much about his friends. He´s just a big teddy bear! Ben never talks in the book. His vocal cords are messed up due to a fight he got into. Ben and Aiden are like two peas in a pod. There's never an away from each other… willingly. The first time Aiden saw Ashlen, he immediately wanted to be friends with her. And Ben just wanted to be with Aiden.
Who are the twins, Taylor and Tyler Harnendess? Well, Taylor is a sweet, kind-hearted friend who will do anything for them, especially her brother. Tyler is always suspicious and will go to any cost to protect his sister. Taylor and Tyler are used to fending for themselves because when they were young, they lost their father, and their mother was in denial and was in no condition to take care of them. So Tyler took it upon him self to fend for himself and his family. When they met the others, Taylor was, of course, sceptical, while Taylor was happy to get to hang out with new people.
Who is Logan Feils? Logan is the nerdy type. He lives with his grandparents and helps them at the flower shop. Once the exciting things start, he is surprisingly good with weapons. He rubs off as the smallest, weakest one, but he´s very strong. One day, the group was walking down the hall and saw a jerk bullying Logan, which got them all very mad. Aiden had to drag Ben away before he exploded. Weirdly, that experience made them all much closer friends. These are the characters of School Bus Graveyard. This book is so good. As a person who has read it all, I can assure you that this book has all the right stuff. School Bus Graveyard is found on an app called WEBTOON. You need to download this app if you don't have it, and if you do, then go read School Bus Graveyard!
