The core idea of the project was to create a digital product which could talk about the Italian Constitution and our wish to be protagonists in our community.

The website can be regarded as a treasure chest filled with information about Lucca; it is created with amusing and educational comic strips, whose protagonist is the widely appreciated Italian President Pertini, after whom our school takes its name. The history of the city is told through its most important monuments, which combine the milestones of the history of Lucca and some articles of the Italian Constitution.

We wanted to show how the history of a city like Lucca, full of events, could perfectly be mirrored by the harmony of the rules ratified by our Constitution.

Our project starts from the local peculiarity of our city, goes through our national Constitution and opens up to a wider European aspect, thanks to the translation into English written by the students.

The final outcome has been extremely positive for us, also because we worked bearing in mind our own glorious tradition which is widely known all over the world: Lucca Comics and Games.

Thus the project has had a cultural aspect, where transversal as well as sectoral skills could blend, delivering a joyful and meaningful product, which represents our students’ creativity and citizenship.
