Tardies
Tardy Staff: Per CBA, most staff report time is at 8:00, which is 20 minutes before classes officially start for students. Teachers must be at their posts by that time.
Tardies will be handled as follows:
1st Tardy: For staff who are observed arriving late, I will leave an individual note with specific individuals to meet with me to discuss why. At that meeting, a verbal reminder will be given to be at work on time.
2nd Tardy: If a second tardy is observed, I will move to a verbal warning.
3rd Tardy: A third tardy will result in a written reprimand.
I realize there are times when circumstances are beyond your control, however, after several times of the same reason for being tardy continue to happen this is a pattern. Both admin MUST be notified as soon as you realize you will be late to work for us to make proper coverage decisions. It is each individual's responsibility to handle personal matters to ensure you are at your post by contract time.
Absences
Please note: Emergency sub plans MUST be turned into Ms. Island by Friday, August 29th at 3:30.
“There is no one more qualified to be in your classroom teaching your students than you!”
Staff daily attendance is essential in achieving our mission and to the academic and social success of our students. All staff are expected to sign in each day on the computer in the lobby area. No one is permitted to sign-in for a colleague.
ALL staff will have two ways to sign in/out daily. 1)The Kiosk set up in the central lobby area, 2)Use your own device and login to Frontline & go to Time & Attendance once you are on campus. Be sure to go to the employee side to find the sign-in page. This is the official time-keeping system moving forward. Any questionable or disputed time in/out of the building will be checked against the sign-in Kiosk. A reminder that per CBA, staff is to be ready to receive children in their areas at 8:00 daily. Please give yourself adequate time to get here and be ready for our scholars.
