Faculty/Staff meetings will be held on Tuesday afternoons in the library from 3:30 - 4:00 p.m. Some of these faculty/staff meetings will be mini-professional development sessions. Some meetings may only be required for specific groups of professionals, you will be made aware ahead of time in the weekly MLK Paw Prints, via email, or GroupME. The first Tuesday of each month is set aside for professional development and will take place from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m, unless noted otherwise in the weekly MLK Paw Prints. All staff members are expected to be present at staff meetings. DO NOT SCHEDULE ANY MEETINGS OR OTHER CONFLICTING EVENTS DURING THIS TIME. One Tuesday per month no meeting will be held, these are planned out for the 2025-2026 school year and are linked below. As much notice as possible will be given in the event it changes.
If an emergency arises which prevents your attendance at a staff meeting, the principal must be contacted personally. In this event, it is YOU will need to plan a time the next school day to meet with Ms. Gifford to go over items/professional learning discussed. If a meeting is to be canceled, as much time as is humanly possible will be given (please check email). Assistants and non-instructional staff will finish after-school duties to allow for all instructional staff to attend these meetings.
*In certain circumstances, our meeting may be done via Zoom or Google meets. Notification will be sent out asap when this happens.
